Mother and Child

This morning, my mom called me

Sang me a b’day song, wished me a happy b’day, prayed for my luck and fortune…

Then she began to cry, a happiness tears as she said, she told me that she’s sorry because she cannot be with me and hold me as she always does, she told me how proud she is with me

and all i can do is cried too, there’s so many words that crossed my head, but still my mouth are froze, and there’s no other words that came out from them except thank you and amin

Aaah my mom doesn’t know, this is not my day, this is her day…the day when almost 23 years ago (i say almost since i was born in late night) she choose to become a mother by giving me birth, the day when she choose to play a new role in this world-to become a mom, she choose to take a huge responsibilities-to become someone’s grip

Yeah, my mom is smart doesn’t she?? from all 365 days in a whole year, she choose 22nd December, the day when everyone celebrate mothers day, as the day when she factually become a mother. And she also strong, as she raises4 children -me and my siblings-, plays a role as a good wife, and also works hard too as a teacher, take another role as a parent for her students at school for sure, but yet she still feel guilty because she cannot hug me this morning.

Well that’s my mom, my beloved mom, my best mom in the world (hell yeah!!)

And i really wanna say that i love you mom, even though i used to forget to call you, even though i used to forget to say a little prayer for you in every single day, but mom, let me say, that i love you perfectly with all of this imperfect way that i could, so please forgive me for all the fault that i made, and i’ll always try to be a better person in every second, to be your girl, your little [but growing up] girl as always. And for sure mom, i’m proud with you. Always.
